The Punisher (Frank Castle) is a fictional character that appears in the comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appears in The Amazing Spider-Man #129 (Feb. 1974), and was created by writer Gerry Conway and artists John Romita, Sr. and Ross Andru. The Punisher is a vigilante who considers killing, kidnapping, extortion, coercion, threats of violence and torture to be acceptable crime-fighting tactics. Driven by the deaths of his family, who were killed by the mob when they witnessed a gangland execution in New York City's Central Park, the Punisher wages a one-man war on the mob and all criminals in general by using all manner of weaponry. A war veteran, Castle is a master of martial arts, stealth tactics, hand-to-hand combat, and a wide variety of weapons. The Punisher's brutal nature and willingness to kill made him a novel character in mainstream American comic books in 1974. By the late 1980s, he was part of a wave of psychologically troubled anti-heroes and was featured in several monthly publications, including The Punisher War Journal, The Punisher War Zone, and The Punisher Armory. Several movie adaptations have been released, one in 1989, which features Dolph Lundgren as The Punisher, and another in 2004, with the character played by Thomas Jane. A third adaptation is in post-production with Ray Stevenson as Castle and is planned for a December 2008 release.

Ellie runs towards Hollister dodging people on the way. She gets to the store and sees Mandy looking through a rack of jeans. Ellie runs over to her. “Ellie, where were you? Your like half an hour late.” Mandy says with an angry look on her face. “I’m sorry Mandy, there was traffic and then I ran into someone.” Ellie says between gasps for air. “Wait why are you so out of breath? And who did you run into?” Mandy asks. “I’m out of breath because I was running because I was late and then I ran into an old friend.” Ellie lied. “Oh, I was hoping it was someone like cool.” Mandy says with a sad look on her face. “Well I did invite him and his two brothers to dinner, if that’s okay.” Mandy’s head shoots up, “Oh are they cute?.” She asks with a smile forming on her face. “Well I think they are.” Ellie says trying not to smile but not quiet being able to keep it in. “What are you smiling about?” Mandy asks. “Nothing I’m just happy I guess.” Ellie said still smiling. “Well something came up and I can’t stay.” Ellie adds. “Oh, why not?” Mandy asks with the frown coming back. “Because I have to go get ready for dinner.” Ellie answers her. “But we aren’t having dinner till five and it’s only three thirty.” Mandy says looking at her phone. “I know but I have some stuff to do before it.” Ellie says bouncing from one foot to the other. “Okay?” Mandy says with a puzzled look on her face. “Okay bye.” Ellie says and runs out the door. Mean while Joe finds Nick and Kevin. “Hey guys guess what.” Joe says smiling. “You found you brain?” Nick says. “Ha ha very funny.” Joe says punching his shoulder. “What?” Kevin asks rolling his eyes. “I met this girl and she invited us to dinner with her friends.” Joe says looking proud. “What!?” Kevin yells “You dork you just met this random girl and now we’re going to dinner with her I mean what if she kidnaps us?” “Well I’m pretty sure she won’t.” Joe answers him looking hurt. “I’m fine with that, as long as we get to eat.” Nick says. Kevin looks at him and just shakes his head. “Come on Kevin.” Joe says giving him puppy dog eyes. “Fine, but do you even know her name?” Kevin asks. “Yea it’s…no.” Joe answers him. “Joe…” Kevin says getting a little mad again. “I swear nothing will happen, and I’ll find out her name.” Joe says. “Fine, but if we get kidnapped or injured in any way I’m blaming you and you know I don’t like to blame people.” Kevin says still looking a little worried. “Well on the bright side if she kills us you won’t have to blame me.” Joe says to Kevin smiling. “That’s true.” Nick says nodding in agreement. “You guys are such retards.” Kevin says shaking his head.At that second they heard a loud scream. “It’s the Jonas Brothers!” a girl screams. “Oh no.” Kevin says starting to run. They run through the mall dodging people and end up in the food court. “In there!” Nick says pointing to a small fake bush. They dive behind it. “Well on the bright side we were supposed to meet that girl here.” Joe whispers. Kevin just buries his head in his hands.Ellie gets to the food court and looks around. All of a sudden she hears a whisper. She jumps around and realizes it came from the fake bush. “Who’s in there?” Ellie asks “It’s us.” The whisper answers. “Oh. Wait why are you in a bush?” Ellie asks. “Because some girls saw us and well we couldn’t handle the screaming so we ran and this is where we ended up.” “Oh got it.” Ellie says with a little laugh. “Well come on we have to go.” Ellie says “Okay but can we run the whole way there?” one of the voices says. “Sure.” Ellie says still laughing. “Okay on the count of three”, the voice says “one, two, three!” Joe, Nick, Kevin jump out of the bush and start running. Ellie starts running after them. They make it to the doors when a group of girls see them and scream. Before they know it they have a mob chasing after them. “Where’s you car?” Kevin yells over his shoulder to Ellie. “Straight ahead.” Ellie yells back. “It’s that one.” Ellie yells to them. She grabs her keys and clicks the button to make the doors unlock. She hops in the driver seat and Joe gets in the passenger seat and Kevin and Nick in the back. They start driving. “Wow.” Nick says laughing. “That was bad.” Kevin says starting to laugh too. “So, I never found out your name.” Joe says. “Oh yea, it’s Ellie.” Ellie answers him. “My names…” Nick starts to say but Ellie cuts him off. “Nick.” She says, “I know you guys are the Jonas Brothers.” “Oh yea.” Nick says a little embarrassed. “Nice car.” Kevin says. “Thanks, I got it for my birthday. And it kinda helps to have a rich dad. So where are you guys staying?” Ellie says. “Just over there.” Kevin points. “We walked over here before.” Joe adds. Ellie pulls in the hotel parking lot. “I’ll pick you guys up at about five.” Ellie says. “Okay, seeya then.” Joe says threw the window. “Bye guys.” Ellie calls after them. Ellie watches them walk in. She closes her eyes and just takes a deep breath. “I’m going to dinner with the Jonas Brothers."

This doesn't directly affect Rock Band or the weekly uploads, but if you check this channel on a regular basis, you might be interested in a few of these links if you don't already know about them. Also, I recently started a station on Pandora, which is a net radio site that plays songs based on what you tell it you like. The name of the station is "RBR: Rock Band Radio", and as you can guess, it's seeded with all the songs from the Rock Band games (RB1, RB2, and the RB DLC). So it'll mix up songs from the game along with other tracks from those artists, and other tunes you may not have heard.
