Left4Friends Presents to you, the L4D Demo Review. Please watch in High Quality for Maximum viewing pleasure Please note that only two of us were present for the review, DragyTheDrag was currently out and AKA Northface is currently getting his computer fixed for the release of L4D. PS: Sorry the date for our next review is in the year 2006. Typo :D Unless you can time travel, Go ahead and bitch. And so without futher ado. There's not much to say for Valve's undead creation we call Left4Dead. This new online FPS, A new chance to dive into the FPS Franchise once again finally makes a lead in the horror and action catagory. Unlike other games, the goal for this game is to do the simplest of objectives you would do in any horror movie. Get the hell out of here, this game proves it's worth even for a 2 level demo. With most of the action based off the evaluation of your performance in the game from the cache of bullets left to the ammount of health every single member has. The game never has a dull moment. Just like the all the information you ever heard of, you really cannot play the same level twice. Based soley off the teamwork you show and the ammo and health you have left. The game can turn better or worse in a snap of a finger. It just takes a keen observer to take note of the differences every round. We decided to go for a real review of the game without having to take our time to focus on any specifics or try to stress test the game. We just played it when we got bored and just happened to have FRAP's on. The most natral of gameplay videos comes when your not actually trying. So far, theres a lot of potentinal in this demo. Further more, the graphical details are stunning especially with the new hyped engine begging for more which are really slight in system requirements, Only needs you to bump up to a 3.0GHz Intel Pentium 4 Processor. Which is really cheap now a day's. Your standard goal as a survivor is just like any survivor in any horror movie. You find out your alive and everyone is a zombie. You meet up with survivors and you try to get the hell out of the city. Of course it's not an easy task, especially with inexperienced teamates. In the long run, being the human in the game is one of the hardest, and more funnier aspects of the game. And if you decide to go zombie. Your case is somewhat different. Even though the objective gets so simple even a retard could understand. "KILL ALL MOTHER FUCKIN HUMANS" Simple? Nuff said. As a zombie, your limited to one restriction. You cannot spawn near humans. Your first time as a zombie will blow you away, You automaticly start in a ghost mode where you can walk anywhere, and as soon as you left click. Your placed into the world as one of the four bossess in the game. Your choices happen to be from : Tank :: Boomer :: Hunter :: Smoker. ; Sorry guys, witches are CPU Controlled. :*( Overall, this demo shows us alot of the games full power. And even though were only playing the first level in the video. Just trying to finish the first level alone is a challenge for even the most expierenced of FPS Players. For the first few minutes, I actually mistook this demo for the full game. And just for all this hard work Valve and Turtle Rock Studios have been doing to fully develop the engine and settings. I salute you. Please standb-by for a full review when L4D comes out this Tuesday, November 18th, 2008 The Left4Dead Demo recieves a 9.5/10 " ***** " 5 Star Rating ::Important Note:: Halfway though the game I got really tired of getting assraped so I enabled SV_Cheats 1. And binded the command "Boom" to the letter M which spawns an active pipe bomb which will help explain the explosions. And I mean MASSIVE Explosions. Other then that, DjxZero had no clue what the fuck was happening. Other times I just screwed around which shows the ability to manipulate the game constantly and on the fly.
