Washtenaw Community College is a community college located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Founded in 1965, the school has comprehensive training partnerships with local and national businesses and organizations, and transfer agreements with the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, and UM–Dearborn.
Washtenaw Community College (WCC) is known for student built high end custom cars and is one of the only colleges/trade schools in the nation that teaches high end car customizing. The Custom Cars & Concepts Program (CCC) was founded in 2002 and has built many show cars, hot rods, race cars and customs for the big three for shows like SEMA and the Detroit Autorama.
Their NATEF certified Auto Body Repair Program (ABR) has successfully placed interns and graduates at General Motors, Ford Motor, and many local dealerships and independent collision centers. The NATEF certified Automotive Service Technology program has placed interns and graduates at leading local dealerships and auto repair facilities as well as Lotus Engineering and the Toyota Technical Center USA. The Automotive Services Technology program also enjoys a technical relationship with the world's largest car magazine, Car and Driver.
Washtenaw welcomes more than 1,000 people from over 100 different countries for study each year.
Washtenaw Community College grants certificates and degrees to over 1,400 students annually. It offers approximately 100 credit programs in business, health and public service, humanities and Social science, math and natural sciences, and technology. It takes learning off campus to four extension centers (west of Ann Arbor, in Brighton, Hartland, and in Ypsilanti). It broadcasts live on the web with Orchard Radio, one of the first Internet-based radio formats produced by a college. Its on-site child care center was established in 1966, the first year of college operations and long before on-site programs became popular with businesses. It also claims ownership of the largest fossiliferous limestone rock (55 tons and roughly 400 million years old) ever unearthed in the region.

"Tracking" Teaser Trailer
Music: Countdown The Black Keys This is the trailer for an upcoming student film. Crew: Andrew Brodie Eric Hill Erik Mumm David Spratt The film will be released at the end of the fall semester. The footage comes straight from VHS tape (i.e. I ran no filters on it through after effects, although I make use of the Twitch plugin from www.videocopilot.net for the type). The majority of the film is being shot on Mini-DV. The trailer was edited by me (Erik Mumm) and in Adobe After Effects CS3 and the final product will be edited on at WCC on Mac's Final Cut Pro 6. I'm not a huge fan on Macintosh or their software, however, the class requires us to use it so I will. Most likely I will be archiving the footage and re-editing it at home for my own personal enjoyment.
